• Represented general contractor as first chair in week-long arbitration that resulted in award of roof repair damages of only $13,000, though the claimant sought full roof replacement at a cost of over $700,000, in relation to a commercial construction project.
• Achieved a nonsuit after bringing a motion for summary judgment on behalf of the client-subcontractor, in a case in which the plaintiff claimed the subcontractor installed the ceiling fan that later struck the plaintiff in the head.
• Obtained numerous favorable settlements for contractors and home inspectors.
• Obtained favorable settlements in OSHA citation disputes, including a no-citation agreement in a case involving citation under the process safety standard.
• Obtained dismissal of OSHA citation item after serving as first chair in final hearing.
• Obtained summary judgment for trailer owner in personal injury case related to trucking accident.
• Obtained summary judgment for apartment complex owner in case involving alleged dog attack.
• Obtained numerous favorable settlements in representation of truckers and trucking companies in lawsuits brought in connection with trucking accidents.
• Achieved nonsuit after bringing motion for summary judgment on behalf of client-contractor, in case in which the plaintiff, who was employed by a different contractor, claimed to have been injured in a same-level fall during a refinery turnaround.
