About Justin Kahl

Justin Kahl is an Associate Attorney at Marshall Presley & Pipal PLLC. His practice focuses on premises liability, construction disputes, commercial litigation, employment disputes, and real estate and business transactions. Justin represents contractors, property owners, businesses, and individuals in matters involving contract claims, payment and lien issues, real estate conflicts, and other civil disputes.

Mr. Kahl graduated cum laude from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and earned his Juris Doctorate, cum laude, from UNT Dallas College of Law. While in law school, Mr. Kahl gained substantial courtroom experience in the District Attorney’s Office, where he served as counsel in felony prosecutions and successfully briefed an appellate matter before the 12th Court of Appeals. Additionally, he has professional experience working with some of the largest insurance companies in the country, while defending their policyholders, giving him a strong understanding of how to evaluate and resolve risk.

At MPP, Justin draws on this foundation in advocacy and litigation to provide practical, results-oriented strategies from pre-suit counseling through trial. He assists clients with contract drafting and negotiation, liens and bond claims, employment issues, and real estate and business transactions, always with a focus on efficient, ethical representation. Outside of his legal practice, Mr. Kahl is an active member of his community. He has served as a Dallas County Election Judge and volunteers with Catholic Charities Dallas. He is an avid fan of all things sports and outdoors.
